Hello

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Rachel, and I am the founder and owner of Clifton Park Cleaning, LLC. I’m passionate about helping others, and I know firsthand how valuable help around the home can be!
For years, I felt like a slave to my home, missing out on precious moments with my family and opportunities to enjoy what life has to offer. Cleaning became a never-ending cycle. I was often told to just let the mess wait and enjoy time with my children while they were young – great advice, until I needed clean dishes to eat from or clothes to wear. It was impossible to relax when I was constantly staring at endless tasks. Can you relate?
During my years as a Doula, one of the biggest requests I received from families was help with housework. I quickly realized that this was a common, unmet need that robbed many families of joy. There simply wasn’t enough support, and never enough time.
Now that my children are older, I’ve set out to help families in a new way: by caring for their homes. Cleaning for others means more to me than just providing a clean space – it’s about giving people their time back. Life is precious and fleeting, and I want you to be able to spend yours doing what you love, not cleaning.
So, let us do the cleaning for you. Allow Clifton Park Cleaning to create more time for you today.

The Power of Thyme (Thymus vulgaris):
My gentle, All Purpose Cleaner is infused with Thyme Essential Oils. The botanical oil has a long history of antiseptic use: Ancient Egyptians used it for embalming, Europeans used it to soothe blistered skin during the Black Death, and Blackfoot Native Americans used it to treat mouth and throat infections.
These days, thymol serves as the active ingredient in many household cleaners. It's also found in mouthwashes, acne treatments, insect repellents, and fungicides.
When used properly as the active ingredient, thymol can kill 99.99 percent of household germs. This is on par with popular disinfectant brands like Lysol and Clorox! The EPA's list of products known to kill the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) even includes seven products with thymol as the active ingredient. Unlike Lysol and Clorox though, the EPA is "not aware of any adverse effects of thymol to humans or the environment when it is used in a manner prescribed by product labeling," according to EPA.gov. Additionally, we do not clean with products using phosphates, which can accumulate in waterways and can cause harmful algal bloom (a rapid increase in the population of algae in water systems that affects the entire ecosystem), alcohol, which can be poisonous or flammable; bleach, ammonia, which can cause eye, respiratory, and skin irritation; and parabens, which may cause skin irritation and disrupt the endocrine system.
So, why NOT thyme?
